June Helen Jarrett/Calder (Flaherty)

Passed quietly at home after a long illness. June fought her entire life to survive, for her family and to save animals. She was the hardest working woman anyone knew. Leaving husband and best friend Carey Calder, beloved son Jeff Jarrett, loving daughter-in-law Penny and best gift ever, her granddaughter Katlyn, as well as her devoted buddy Charlie. Survived by niece Diane Howie (Fred) and great nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by brother Bob Flaherty and parents Ruby and Pops Flaherty.

Direct any donations to the Animal Assistance Association of St. Catharines.

My condolences Carey. It’s been a long journey. June was truly a real fighter. Now you can both rest until you meet again.

We are so sorry for your loss, Aunt June as she was known to us will be greatly missed. It was always a fun time going to your home, especially when she was working on wax figures and doing costumes. She will always be close to our hearts. Aunt June we love you and miss you, give my mom a big hug.

I am writing to express my sadness at the passing of my wonderful cousin June Jarrett Calder. She was an amazing person with incredible intelligence and energy which she expressed in her family and business relationships as well as her love of animals. She will be greatly missed.
