Crowther, William Junior “Bill”

Crowther, William Junior “Bill”

William “Bill” Junior Crowther passed away at home on November 13, 2019, three days before his 96th birthday.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Phyllis Yvonne (Hiscott), sister Madeline Irvine, brother Douglas, sons Charles Dennis, and Roger William (Diane), and daughter Sally Ann Kolovos (Engelo). He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Harley, Hayley, Amalia, Eleni, Yanni, and Sofia, and great grandchildren Harley and Nash. He was devoted to his family and spoke of them all with much pride.

He was a lifelong resident of McNab and served as a pilot in the Air Force in WWII.

He worked as an electrician at General Motors, retiring as foreman after 30 years with the company.

Bill was accomplished in many trades and was very generous with both his time and talents. There was never a time he didn’t have a project on the go either for family or friends; building everything including  houses, boats, travel trailers, and even roads.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Church McNab, 1294 McNab Rd., Niagara-on-the-Lake, at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26. Please, NO FLOWERS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to prostatecancercanada.donorportal.ca, ca.movember.com, or Christ Church McNab.  For donations to the church, donation cards and envelopes will be available at the service.
