Hilton Lewon Spicer


August 16, 1936 – March 2, 2019

With great sorrow we announce Hilton passed away peacefully after a long battle with his health, at the age of 82. He enjoyed an outpouring of love and affection from family, friends, brothers and sisters. Hilton was born in Nova Scotia to parents Oscar and Bertha Spicer. In his adolescent years he moved to Toronto where he met his wonderful wife and started their family. He was a proud and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, spiritual brother and loyal friend. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his devoted wife of 60 years, Patricia (nee Muir); children Linda, Rick, Cathy (Warren), Lee (Heide); special nephew Steve whom he thought of as a son; fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Hilton was predeceased by 3 grandchildren. Cremation has already taken place.

His final resting place will be:

Victoria Lawn Cemetery
431 Queenston Street
St. Catharines, Ontario

A memorial service will be held at:

Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses
93 Moffat Street
St. Catharines, Ontario

    Hilton was a special person that touched me and my family deeply over the years. he always had a kind word and wisdom in the truth he spoke. I will miss him and his incredible courage.
